Is 391% APR TOO HIGH? YES! Vote YES on 5!

Is Ohio up next?

The payday lenders' spending has surged past the $10 million mark in the Arizona Campaign. The payday lending industry has spent almost $11.6 million in their campaign to make 400% APR permanent in the state of Arizona.

From the East Valley Tribune:

Payday lenders funneled another nearly $2.4 million into their campaign Monday in an effort to persuade voters to let them stay in business.

The new cash infusion brings total donations so far to nearly $11.6 million, all of that from the association made up of payday loan firms. Spending on no other measure on this year's ballot comes close.

The payday lenders have been spending millions on dollars in Ohio as well. With only 50 days until the November 4th election in Ohio, voters can expect more dollars and deceptive advertisements to surface from the payday lobby throughout the state. Expect another influx of big money to come flowing into Ohio in the coming weeks ahead.

Don't let the payday lobby buy the election! Vote yes on issue 5!
